Science fair conferences as well. Thursday - Jeopardy review of Chapter 8. Friday - Test over chapter 8. 7th Language Arts Monday - Christmas Carol - Scenes 3, 4 and 5 of play script. Work on "Island of the Blue Dolphins" journal entries. Tuesday - Shared reading of "To Build a Fire" by Jack London - assignment will be to finish story and answer the three interpretive questions at the end of the story. Wednesday - Review of the To Build a Fire questions. Shared reading of "As the Night the Day" by Abioseh Nicol. Assignment will be to finish the story and answer the three interpretive questions at the end of the story. Thursday -Review of the As the Night the Day questions. Shared reading of "A Game of Catch" by Richard Wilbur. Assignment will be to finish the story and answer the three interpretive questions at the end of the story. Friday - Review of the A Game of Catch questions. Shared reading of "The Veldt" by Ray Bradbury. Assignment will be to finish the story and answer the three interpretive questions. 8th Science Monday - Study guide for 8.3.2 and science fair time. 16 minute video covering mechanical advantage and levers. Science fair research. Tuesday -Star standard test 8.3.2 Science fair time as well with goals. Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - 7th Social Studies - Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday - Friday - High School Speech Monday - Mad Gab Tournament Tuesday -Mad Gab Tournament Wednesday - Mad Gab Tournament Thursday - Pet Peeve speech notes and expectations/rubric and writing/brainstorming time. One page typed. Friday - Pet peeve speech rough draft due. Continue writing and have finished product ready to be spoken on Monday. |
