Student Information System Change

Starting the 2007-2008 school year, E-F schools will be changing to a new student information system and lunch program.  The new program is called SchoolMaster.  Once again, student grades and other pertinent information will be available to parents/students on this system via the internet.  Students will be assigned a new ID and PIN number for this system.  This will be how students and/or parents will be able to access their grades.  Although not all information will probably be accessible at the start of school, we will be working to have the information displayed as soon as possible.  Click on the link E-F SchoolMaster PASS here, or at the left, to access the Parent Access Support System.  If you did not receive your child's login information earlier, please contact the school and we will get you the necessary information.

With the change in the SIS, this has also brought about a change in lunch programs.  The new program is called LCS (Lunch Cashier System).  Although you will have to call in to get your account balance on the new system for at least this first year, all students and adults in your family will be associated with a family account which all of your family will draw from, rather than having to find the balance for each member of your family.  Student lunch account numbers will be new; but, they will be set to the same number as their PIN from SchoolMaster.

We are planning a parent meeting sometime around the start of school to demonstrate SchoolMaster and present the new information to you.  Stay tuned for details!

NetTrekker

NetTrekker is a web-based research tool which allows students, parents, and teachers to research topics by subject and save those searches to be used later for their classes.  In order to provide everyone in our district the opportunity to use this site, we have created some generic public logins for student and parent access.  You can click on the NetTrekker link on the left to take you to the site.  Be sure that you click on "NetTrekker d.i." on the opening page to access information/searches specific to our district.  I have provided the login information for students and parents below so that this information can be accessed from home.  The teacher access code will be provided to them.  After getting in, you may register yourself for you own account in order to save your own searches.  Note to parents:  All links to websites and the sites themselves have been evaluated by other teachers for the educational content and are guaranteed to be "safe" sites--free from explicit material.

Community Upload Page

for 2007 Yearbook

In order for us to fill some of our pages with pictures, sometimes it is necessary to get additional help from parents who love to take pictures.  Due to the many things our students are involved in, it becomes difficult to get them to some of the other events to take pictures.  In order for community members to get us their pictures easier, Jostens has provided a website that allows for community correspondence.  Any pictures you can submit to us for activities, seniors, etc., is greatly appreciated.  Just go to the following site and use the login information listed to upload your pictures to our site.  All pictures are subject to approval by E-F Yearbook Staff and Administration.  Thanks!

Parent Access
to State Standards/Assessments

For those parents who would like to see how their child has been doing on the State Assessments, please follow the directions below.  Thanks!

1)      On your web browser go to http://nestandards3.org.

2)      Select the "Parent" menu.

3)      Enter your student's ID.  It is the first four letters of their last name followed by the first four letter of their first name, a period, then their graduation year.  An example for William Smith who is graduating in 2008 would be as follows:  SMITWILL.2008.

4)      Enter your student's password.  It is the same as your Powerschool password.  If you did not receive it please contact the school at 308-486-3991.

5)      Select an individual subject or leave "All" selected to view the STAR ASSESSMENTS your child has taken.

6)      Click "Run Student Report."

7)      The standards the have taken will be visible showing if the standard was "MET" or "NOT MET".  You can click on the blue standard number to see what the standard was.  The date of the last assessment is also visible.  The State Writing Assessment will be available on this page soon.
